Shirley Frances (Reugh) Dahlin passed away peacefully on Monday, December 4, 2017. Born and raised in Spokane, Washington, Shirley graduated from Lewis and Clark High school, class of 1949, and then went on to attend Washington State University where she was a member of the Chi Omega Sorority. In her freshman year Shirley met the love of her life, Robert John Dahlin, a member of the SAE fraternity. Shirley married Bob two years later in 1952, enjoying 65 beautiful years of marriage. Moving to Southern California in 1966, Bob became a long-time community pharmacist in both Long Beach and Orange County where they were residents of Fullerton, California for 49 years. During these years Shirley enjoyed a fulfilling life raising her 3 children, and was involved in many philanthropic organizations and was a Deacon of First Presbyterian Church of Fullerton.

Shirley is survived by her husband Robert J. Dahlin; children R. Scott Dahlin (Leanne Dahlin); Carolyn K. Hauck (Joe Hauck); David J. Dahlin and grandchildren Sean, Ryan and Jennifer; and precious great grandchildren Olivia and Kevin; many loved nieces and nephews. Shirley was predeceased by her parents Harold and Helen Reugh, her brother K. Wendell Reugh and her adoring grandson Robert Louis Jones.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held at Heritage Funeral Home, 508 N. Government Way, Spokane, Wa. 99224 on Saturday, December 16, at 12:30 PM with a graveside interment to follow at 2:00 PM at Greenwood Memorial Terrace, 211 N. Government Way Spokane, Wa. 99224. In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions can be made in Shirley Dahlin’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association (alz.org) or the ASPCA (aspca.org).
