Shirley Ann Finney

May the work I've done, speak for me....

On Tuesday, June 3, 2025, God called Shirley Ann Finney home. Shirley was born June 9, 1941, in Pittsylvania County to the late Hampton and Sally Finney. In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia Mease and Ruth Smith; three brothers, Dewey Finney, Leroy Finney and Buddy Finney.

Shirley was employed at several local manufacturing companies, including Martin Processing, for seventeen years. She was gainfully employed at several local healthcare facilities and provided in home healthcare for patients.

She leaves to cherish her memory, one son, David E. Finney Sr. (Riverview, FL); three grandsons, David E. Finney Jr. (Riverview FL), Dominick E. Finney (Harrisburg, PA) and Darius E. Finney (White Plains, MD); one granddaughter, Mickayla Collins (San Antonio, TX); five great-granddaughters, Eviana, Milayah and Brooklyn Finney and Scarlett and Skylar Collins; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Her family will receive friends Saturday, June 14, 2025 from 5-7 p.m. a t Flora Funeral Service.

God saw the road was getting rough
