Shirley Ruth Moreland

Shirley Ruth Moreland, age 83 of Rocky Mount passed away Sunday, September 17, 2023. Shirley provided childcare in the neighborhood as a young woman. She was born August 24, 1940, a daughter of the late John and Tina Moreland and she was also preceded in death by her sister, Mae Sink; brothers, George, Dwight, G.L., and an infant brother. Shirley is survived by her sisters, Virginia Moreland, Beulah Ingram (Lloyd), Hazel Caldwell and Joann Moreland, along with numerous nieces and nephews. There will be a memorial service held at a later date. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Services and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
