Sidney Melva King Guthrie

Sidney Melva Guthrie, age 88 of Boones Mill died Monday, February 15, 2010. She was born April 13, 1921 a daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin and Mary Peters King. She also is preceded in death by her husband Robert S. Guthrie, Sr. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law Robert Guthrie Jr. wife Jean, granddaughter; Keysha McNeil and husband John, great-grandsons; Ty McNeil, Owen McNeil; brothers and sisters-in-law; a number of nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Franklin Memorial Park with Rev. Maurice Wright officiating.
