Silvia F. Prillaman, age 70 of Rocky Mount departed this world on Sunday, April 22, 2007 after her long and courageous battle to cancer.
She was born on June 5, 1936 a daughter of the late Woodsie and Beulah Guilliams Frith.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Joe and Debra Prillaman, Callaway, Mary Ann and Steve Miller, Vinton, David (Crockett) Prillaman, Boones Mill, Martha and Dale Abbott, Portsmouth, Matthew and Terri Lea Prillaman, Rocky Mount; her former husband, Joseph (Lawrence) Prillaman, Callaway; her grandchildren, Steven and Melissa Miller, Sarah Miller, Marcus Smith, Jamie Prillaman, Seth Miller, Caitlin Abbott, Nickalas Prillaman; great-grandchildren, Blake, Tyler and Hannah; four sisters; two brothers; several nieces and nephews.
A special thanks to Dr. Christine Barrett and staff, Carilion Hospice of Bedford and Franklin County and to all of her caregivers during her illness.
Graveside services will be conducted from the Prillaman Family Cemetery, Foot Hills Road, Callaway, 11:00 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Jeane Dunkum officiating.
The family will gladly accept flowers or suggests that memorial contributions be made to your local Hospice.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 – 8 p.m. at Flora Funeral Service, 665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount.
