Smokey Joe Hodges, age 58 of Rocky Mount died Friday, June 21, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cliffton and Ruby Hodges; and brother, Reggie Hodges. Surviving are his wife, Debbie Hodges; children, Joseph (Laura) Hodges, Tracy (Bobby) Daniel; grandchildren, Kelsey and Savanna Moore, Jodie and Stormie Hodges; brothers and sisters, Frankie (Cynthia) Hodges, Rocky Hodges, Dana (Barry) Jones, Daryl (Lois) Hodges; many other family members and friends. His family will receive friends 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the home, 461 Beechdale Road, Rocky Mount. Private service will be held Monday.
