Stella Jean Worley Boone

Stella Jean Worley Boone, 87, of Rocky Mount, VA passed away Saturday, August 20, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Blanche Worley, husband James Andrew Boone and sister Polly English. She is survived by her daughter, Leighann Boone of Richmond, VA; daughter and son-in-law, Julia and Dieter Merz of Mathews, VA; son and daughter- in-law, Jamey and Kim Boone of Suwanee GA. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Emily (Brett) Striffler, Sam Jones, Andrew Merz, Abby Boone and Andy Boone; her brother and sister- in- law, Buddy and Betty Worley and brothers- in- law, Vester Boone and John Hash. Visitation will be held 11:00 a.m. until noon on Monday, August 22, 2016 at Flora Funeral Service, Rocky Mount. Graveside services will immediately follow at 12:30 p.m. at Franklin Memorial Park.
