Stephen Carey Morris

Stephen Carey Morris, age 59 of Rocky Mount, passed away Sunday, August 25, 2019. He was born July 19, 1960, a son of late Billy and Peggy Hodges Morris. Surviving are his daughter Jessica Morris (Eric); son, Hunter Morris; sister, Susan Pulliam (Brian); the mother of his children, Brenda Morris; nephew, Matthew; and niece, Mackenzie. Stephen worked many jobs and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of the Redwood United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be conducted at Flora Funeral Chapel, 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 28, 2019. Interment will follow at the Bennett-Dudley Family Cemetery. His family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
