Steven Thomas Shilling

Steven Thomas Shilling, age 69 of Rocky Mount, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Inez Shilling; grandparents, George and Maggie Bowles and Mary Green Smith; brother, Randy Steen; and sister-in-law, Linda G. Hunt. Surviving are his wife, Becky Shilling; children, Sarah and Kevin Eary, Steven J. Shilling, and Lorraine Shilling Shively; four grandchildren, Kayla Van Dyke, Ashley Van Dyke, Hali Plogger, and Trey Eary; two brothers, Ricky Steen, Ronnie and Donna Steen; brother-in-law, Tim and Susan Hunt; his four legged companion, Copper; and several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Good Samaritan Hospice for their care. A graveside service will be held at the Guilliams Family Cemetery, 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 30, 2021 with Mr. Mike Powers and Mr. Rick Arrington officiating. His family will receive friends from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
