Susan Rooney Ruggiero

Susan Rooney Ruggiero, age 65 of Hampstead, NC passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, August 20, 2024. Susan was predeceased by her parents, Richard (Dick) Rooney and Jane Trimmer Rooney of Spring Lake Heights, NJ. Surviving are her beloved husband, William Ruggiero of Hampstead, NC; sister, Pamela Rooney Thoman of Atlantic Highlands, NJ and her husband Ken Thoman; son, Benjamin Ruggiero and his beloved wife Krissy and their two children, River and Wrenly of Glade Hill, VA; daughter, Ashlee Ruggiero Tolley and husband David Tolley along with their two children, Adriana and Adam Tolley of Rocky Mount, VA. Funeral service will be held at Flora Funeral Chapel, 665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount, Virginia 24151 on Monday, August 26, 2024 at 3:30 p.m. Her family will receive friends beginning at 2 p.m. prior to the service.
