Susan J. "Sue" Allison

Susan J. “Sue” Allison, age 82 of Penhook died Saturday, December 28, 2024. She was born January 21, 1942 and was preceded in death by her parents, Robert H. Bailey and Henrietta Bailey; sons, Arthur D. Allison, Jr. and Kurt K. Bailey; and brother, John R. Bailey. Sue loved her family and friends. She was very generous and caring. She was also quick-witted with her words. If she didn’t tell you what she thought, her face expressions would! She loved her dogs, Max and Joy. Surviving are her daughters, Terri Taylor of Penhook, Dixie Baver (Brad) of Fritztown, PA; sons, Donald Bailey of PA and Jeffrey Delong of CA; grandchildren, Brandon Taylor (Ashley), Kendra Ballantine (Sean), Allison Baver, Crystal Baver, Bradley Baver, Dillon Bailey, Vincent Delong, Alyssa Bailey, Kory Bailey; and nine great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Flora Funeral Chapel 3 p.m. Saturday, January 18, 2025 with Rev. Matt Reynolds officiating. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
