Tamara Ann Fletcher

Tamara Ann Clark Fletcher, age 82 of Henry, passed away Sunday, September 17, 2023. She was born November 22, 1940 in Washington, D.C., daughter of the late George H. Clark and Gretchen Thurlow Clark. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Pablo Fletcher. Tamara was married to G. Paul Fletcher for 63 years and was a lifelong wife, mother and homemaker. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two children, Debra F. Gibson (Phillip A. Gibson) and Garnet Paul Fletcher II (Mireya Fletcher); eight grandchildren, Mary Lindblom, John Gibson, Nathan Gibson, Joseph Gibson, Helen Gibson, Ethan Gibson and Gabriela Fletcher; 12 great-grandchildren. She was an active member of Twin Oaks Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted at Twin Oaks Baptist Church, 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 22, 2023 with Pastor Terry Covey officiating. Interment will follow in the Prillaman Family Cemetery. Her family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the church. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
