Terry Iven Smith

Terry Iven “Baby” Smith, age 62 of Rocky Mount went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 25, 2011. He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Smith. Surviving are his mother, Dannie H. Smith; his beloved wife of 45 years, Judy Divers Smith, and their six children, Lisa (James) Wells, Teresa (Joe) Pruitt, Trenda (Emilio) Ruiz, Gerald “Bodie” (Ginger) Smith, Mark (Julie) Smith, and Kevin (Jennifer) Smith; ten grandchildren, Digger (Kim) Wells and James Wells, Amy (Erik) Holland, Brad Pruitt, Brittney and Shea Smith, Christina, Emily, and Amber Ruiz, and Skye Smith; two great-grandchildren, Graycie and Bethany Holland; four brothers, Calvin, Clinton, Randy, and Ricky Smith; one sister, Mary Lou Denis. Funeral services will be conducted from Henry Fork Church of the Brethren 2 p.m. Monday with Pastor Ronald Coleman officiating. Interment will follow in the Smith Family Cemetery. Special thanks to friend, Kamronn Anderson. His family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Henry Fork Church of the Brethren and other times at the home of Teresa Pruitt, 232 Sand Ridge Road, Rocky Mount, Virginia.
