Theron Monroe Bobbitt

Theron Monroe Bobbitt, 42 of Hardy passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2011. He was born February 11, 1968 and was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. Theron was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harry and Ola Bobbitt; George Taylor Williams and Mae Kelley Williams. Surviving are his father, Junior Monroe Bobbitt of Roanoke; mother, Nancy Joyce Williams of St. Louis Missouri; brother, Kelley Dillenberger and wife Mary Jane of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; four aunts and uncles, Gracie and Willie Dillon of Hardy, Ruby and Bobby Rankin of Vinton, Betty and Kenny Underwood of Roanoke, Nellie Mills and Daniel Pruitt of Hardy; a nephew, Taylor Dillenberger; two nieces, Langley and Madison Dillenberger. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 8, 2011 from Flora Funeral Chapel with Rev. Melvin Harris officiating. Interment will follow in Epworth United Methodist Church cemetery. Friends may call after 3:00 p.m. Friday with his family receiving friends 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
