Thomas Howard Linson

Thomas Howard Linson, age 68 of Hardy passed away Sunday, September 22, 2024. He was born in Queens, NY on January 26, 1956 and grew up in North Babylon, NY. He was a son of the late Howard and Theresa Galvin Linson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Daniel Linson; and nephew, Brendan Linson. Surviving are his wife of 43 years, Robin White Linson; children, Theresa Linson (Ryan) and William Linson (fiancée, Jessica); sister, Theresa McCaffery; brother, Timothy Linson (Monica); sister-in-law, Kelly White; nieces, Faith Madden and Meghan McCaffery; and nephew, Sean McCaffery. Thomas worked as a Glazier in New York City for over 30 years helping develop many buildings and skyscrapers. He was a volunteer firefighter for 19 years for Lindenhurst Fire Department in Long Island, NY. Thomas was also a retired doorman serving many locations in New York City. He had a great sense of humor. Not only was Thomas an automotive enthusiast, he was also a super genius and loved to fix anything and everything. Above everything, Thomas loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. His family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Flora Funeral Service (665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount, VA 24151).
