Thomas J. Malishaucki of Glade Hill went to be with the Lord on February 24, 2022, passing peacefully in his home as he wished. He was born in Tamaqua, PA to Drs. Thomas and Mary Malishaucki. After graduating from Tamaqua High School in 1958, where he was a star football player, he married his high school sweetheart, Gail Endy, and they moved to Philadelphia, PA where he attended Temple University School of Pharmacy. He was the founder of Maple Glen Pharmacy in Maple Glen, PA. While serving the community as a pharmacist, he also worked with the Horsham Police in their drug rehabilitation program working with those suffering from addiction as well as educating the public about addictive substances. He was a member of the Safari Club International, Lehigh Valley Chapter and enjoyed many hunting and fishing trips. Tom also enjoyed farming and was an avid runner, participating in several marathons. In 1997, Tom and Gail relocated to Virginia where they built their dream home in Glade Hill enjoying gardening, hunting, and just living in the peaceful surroundings of their property. He took up playing the guitar and also enjoyed singing with area church choirs, Lakeside Singers, and the Franklin County Community Chorus. He is preceded in death by his parents, Drs. Thomas and Mary Malishaucki, and his wife Gail. He is survived by his daughters Susan Spataro (John) of Rocky Mount, VA; Diane Daly (Bob) of Perkasie, PA; grandsons John Thomas Spataro and Cameron Daly; sister Mary Rhodunda (William) of Wilmington, DE; nephews Bill Rhodunda (Kelly), Tom Rhodunda (Shay), Bob Rhodunda (Debbie) all of DE. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Medi-Home Health and Hospice, and the caregivers who helped care for him over the last several years. A very special thank you goes to Ruby Metts for her love and devoted care to both Gail and Tom over the last 10 years. At Tom's request, there will be no visitation or service.
