Thomas J. Regan

Thomas J. Regan (aka TJ, Shorty), age 65 of Salem, Virginia and formerly of Long Island, New York died Tuesday, August 17, 2021, after a long illness. Out of an abundance of caution due to the pandemic, the family will hold a private burial service.  A memorial service is being planned for a later date in Long Island, New York. Thomas was pre-deceased by his parents William and Ann (Nancy) and was very much loved by his siblings, Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Friends, especially his Camp NYDA Friends.  Thomas lived courageously with diabetes for over 50 years and was recognized by the Joslin Diabetes Center (a Harvard University Affiliate) with a Bronze level Certificate of Achievement.  In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Joslin Diabetes Center, Inc.
