Thomas "Leon" Wray

Thomas “Leon” Wray, age 73 of Rocky Mount died Sunday, September 12, 2021. He was born December 25, 1947 a son of the late Cary and Algie Wray. He was also preceded in death by his son, Timothy Bob Smithers; and brother, James Ronnie Wray. Surviving are his wife of 43 years, Patricia Wray; son, Anthony Smithers (Kathy); grandchildren, Ashley Smith (Sterling), Tanner Smithers; three great-grandchildren, Gabriel Smith, Paisley Smith, Ryleigh Rose Smithers; sister, Yvonne Slack of Fort Worth, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, September 24, 2021 at Faith Fellowship Church with Pastor Gary Hoffman officiating. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
