Thomas David Young

Thomas David Young, age 61 of Ferrum died Tuesday, December 11, 2012. He was a United States Army Veteran serving in Germany. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, James L. and Grace F. Young. Surviving are his children Alicia Dudley and husband Donovan; Thomas James Young; grandchildren, Jackson Dudley and Karlie Young; two brothers, Steve Young and Joe Young; one sister, Jamie Johnson; many special friends including, Jimmy Arrington, Gary Thompson, Lena and Charles Pauley, and the staff of 77 Restaurant in Ferrum. Graveside services will be conducted from Franklin Memorial Park 2 p.m. Friday with Chaplain Rick Poland officiating. There will be no visitation.
