Tiny Boothe Durham, of Boones Mill and formerly of Roanoke, passed away Monday January 7, 2008 at Friendship Manor Nursing Home after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
She was preceded in death by her husband John Lewis Durham; a grandson Jeffrey Durham; mother and father “Jadie” and Bessie Peters Boothe; brothers Luther, Luster, Claude, and Posey Marvin Boothe; sisters Mary Maxey and Jacqueline Montgomery; several nieces and nephews.
Surviving are her son Ronald Durham of the Red Valley community; daughter Connie Brumbaugh (Jerry) Ohio; granddaughters Corrinna Newbanks (Mark), Erin Funk (Caleb); grandson Micah Brumbaugh; three great-grandchildren Logan Newbanks, Liam and Aidan Funk; brothers Archie Boothe (Frances) and Billy Boothe; sisters Dorothy Crowder, Gracie Peters, Shirley Wood and Barbara Akers; sisters-in-law, Bunah Boothe, Georgia Boothe, and Carrie Hall; brother-in-law Malcolm Montgomery; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11:00 a.m. Thursday with Rev. Jared Clevenger officiating.
Interment will follow in Oak Hill Old German Baptist Brethren Church Cemetery.
Her family will be receiving friends Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Flora Funeral Service, 665 S. Main St., Rocky Mount, VA 24151.
