Todd Alan Verhoeff

Todd Alan Verhoeff, age 52, of Union Hall, passed away May 7, 2015 at home. Todd was born on November 24, 1962 to Bonnie Essink Verhoeff and Dale Verhoeff.

He is survived by his loving wife Linda MacKenzie Verhoeff; 4 children, Brittni Verhoeff Williamson and husband Sean; Tyler Verhoeff and significant other Tina Campbell, Lindsay Verhoeff, and Cydni Verhoeff; and two grandsons Levi Alan Verhoeff, and Tucker Williamson. Also surviving are his parents Bonnie and Dale Verhoeff; brother Rodney Verhoeff and wife Anna; sister in law Rev. Susan Hughes and husband Walter; Brother in law Robert MacKenzie and wife Pam; Father in law Charles MacKenzie, and many other aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Todd loved the Lord and was a beloved member of Redwood United Methodist Church, Praise Band and choir, Celebrate Recovery Ministry, and the Dan River Emmaus Community; where he enjoyed sharing his gifts of music and song. He was one of those people who never met a stranger and sought to share the love of Christ with all those he met. Truly, our loss is heaven?s gain.

Viewing will be held at Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center in Rocky Mount, VA, Monday, May 11, 5-8 pm; and Service of Death and Resurrection followed by a meal and time of fellowship at Redwood United Methodist Church in Rocky Mount, VA, Tuesday, May 12, 6 pm with family visitation one hour before the service.
