Tommy Lee English

Tommy Lee English, age 71 of Rocky Mount, died Friday morning, April 13, 2018. He was born April 8, 1947, son of the late Leroy and Polly Worley English. He served in the National Guard and retired from Ingersoll-Rand. His life pleasures were NASCAR, UVa Sports, trips to the beach and cheering the grandkids in Little League and dance. Surviving are his son, Steve English (Julie), daughter, Jennifer Call, grandchildren, Will, Lili, Harmon and Gary, sisters, Ella Sue Roche (John), Fran Kinneberg (Rob), mother of his children, Janice Thurman. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of choice. A celebration of his life is being planned for a later date. His family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Sunday, April 15, 2018 at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
