Vernon Elwood Hodges, 75 of Rocky Mount passed away Wednesday June 23, 2010. He was born August 17, 1934, the youngest child of Norman and Cora Lillian Hubbard Hodges. He was also preceded in death by sisters Nellie Hodges, Ernestine Wade, Frances Housman; brother Willie Hodges. Surviving are 13 nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted from Henry Fork Church of the Brethren Cemetery 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 26, 2010 with Rev. Mark Griffith of Franklin Heights Baptist Church officiating.
