Vida Mae Arnold, age 102 of Rocky Mount died Sunday, January 8, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Arnold. Surviving are her children, Faye, Melvin, Jerry and James; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Friday at Day Cemetery in Pea Patch, Va. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
