Virginia Lavinder Aldridge

Virginia Lavinder Aldridge, 84 of Glade Hill passed away Friday, December 5, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Kenneth Lavinder, Sr and Lillian Gertrude Abbott Lavinder; brother, John Lavinder, Jr. and baby sister, Emma Catherine. Surviving are a daughter, Diane Law and friend Warren Smith, Amy and Cassidy Smith; adoptive daughter, Norma Ayers; grandchildren, Melissa Law Johnson, Monica Miller (Sean , Sr), Crystal McGhee (Steve) and Dana Kelley (Joe); great-grandchildren, Dylan and Dianna Johnson, Ainsley, Lauren and Caroline Kelley, Sean Miller, Jr and Emily Miller; brother, William F. Lavinder (Bell); sister-in-law, Frances Lavinder; nephews, John Lavinder( Robin), Kenneth Lavinder, Steve Lavinder, Jimmy Lavinder and Tony Lavinder her companion cat, Rascal. Funeral services will be conducted at Flora Funeral Chapel, 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 8, 2014 with Chaplain Rick Poland officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
