Virginia Lois Atkins

Virginia Lois Atkins, 81 of Ferrum passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2018. She is survived by her husband, Denver Atkins; children, Stacy Atkins and Dawn Treaster; grandchildren, Teri Rakes, Brandon Atkins, Cody Pagans, Trever Pagans, Ben Gillis, and T.J. Gillis; great-grandchildren, Ethan Young, Madison Rakes and Maddi Gillis; sister and brothers, Marie Ingram, Tommy Lee Gusler and Linwood Gusler. Virginia was a loving wife, sister, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother. She had many friends and a wonderful church family at Maple Grove United Methodist Church. The family would like to thank Carilion Clinic Hospice of Franklin County for their loving care. There will be a celebration of life at Maple Grove United Methodist Church Saturday, January 12, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount, VA.
