Virginia Beckner

Virginia Diane Beckner, age 54 of Callaway, answered the call Monday, July 21, 2008 from her heavenly Father to join her earthly father Alton (Al) Beckner who preceded her in death. She will be sadly missed by her mother Susie Matheny; sisters Margaret (Calvin) Stump of Roanoke, Linda Carr and Dean of Roanoke; brother Ernest (Faye) Beckner; one niece and two nephews; two great-nieces and one great-nephew. Her family would especially like to thank the staff of Franklin Health and Rehab. A graveside service will be conducted from the Beckner Family Cemetery Wednesday with Rev. W.N. Pagen officiating. Friends may call after 3:00 p.m. Tuesday with her family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Flora Funeral Service, 665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount.
