Virginia W. Brubaker, age 79 of Boones Mill, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2007.
She was a member of Antioch Church of the Brethren, serving faithfully for many years.
Mrs. Brubaker was born on March 11, 1927 a daughter of the late William Wesley and Elizabeth Adkins Wilkinson. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Louise Sweet.
She is survived by her husband, Curtis C. Brubaker of Boones Mill; daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn Lowrance and husband Bill of Hopewell, Va., Pam Breeding and husband Tom of Cleveland, Va.; grandchildren, Meghan Lowrance, Matthew Lowrance of Hopewell, Va., Callie Kilbourne and husband Josh of Willis, Va., Whitney Breeding and Adam Breeding of Cleveland, Va.
Funeral services will be conducted from Antioch Church of the Brethren 10 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Tom Powers and the Rev. Josh Kilbourne officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made to the Antioch Church of the Brethren, 2996 Callaway Road, Rocky Mount, Va. 24151.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Friday with her family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. at Flora Funeral Service, 665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount.
