Virginia Wade Hodges

Virginia Wade Hodges, age 89 of Rocky Mount passed away on Monday, June 5, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Hodges; and parents, Henry Lee and Julia Mary Wagner Wade. Surviving is her son, Robert Hodges (Peggy); five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two brothers, Everette Wade and Levi Wade; and one sister, Dallas Hall. She retired from E.I. DuPont with many years of service and was a faithful member of Doe Run Christian Church. Funeral services will be held at Flora Funeral Chapel 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 9, 2023 with Pastor Michael Stump officiating. Interment to follow in Franklin Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
