Virginia Christine McGuire Brown, age 76 of Hardy passed away Thursday April 2, 2009. She loved her flowers, gardening and taking care of her special dog Tramp. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Arnett Brown and a grandson Andrew Flora. Surviving are her children Alisa Flora and husband Wayne of Hardy, Michael Brown and wife Sandra of Huntsville, AL, Melanie Gentry and husband Jason of Montgomery, AL; Grandchildren, Megan Flora and husband Nathan Downs of Leesburg, Nathan Flora of Hardy, David, Daniel and Joshua Brown of Huntsville, AL, Haley, Anna and Ethan Gentry of Montgomery, AL. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 10:30 a.m. Saturday April 4, 2009, with Keith Wagner officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park.
