Wallace Alfred Roope

Wallace Alfred Roope, age 84 of Rocky Mount, Va. passed away on Friday eve, February 13, 2009. He retired from Anchor Motor Freight with over 20 years service. Surviving are his wife Martha Roope his three daughters Ronda Osborne, of BelAir, MD.; Linda Brown, of Westfield NJ.; Donna Roope, of CA.; One son Michael Roope of Rocky Mount. Grandchildren Lisa (Eric) Schwartz, Jeffrey Osborne, Hannah Roope, Hollie Roope, Charles Brown, Matthew Brown, Heather Brown, Ricky Greely, Renee Greely, two sisters Gertrude Thomas, Margaret Garlick. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Monday with Rev.? Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial.
