Walter Buford Holland

Walter Buford Holland, age 88 of Moneta passed away Monday, May 13, 2013. He was born in West Virginia, January 11, 1925, a son of the late Benjamin and Catherine Holland. He was a loving and great husband, dad, grandpa and friend. Surviving is his wife of 65 years, Grace Holland; son, Ronald “Ron” Holland; daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and John Moore; grandchildren, Ronnie Holland, Christopher Moore(Ashley), Matthew Moore and Meaghan Moore; great-grandchild, Chase Holland; sister, Kathleen Henderson. Funeral services will be conducted at Flora Funeral Chapel 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2013 with Pastor Melvin Harris officiating. Entombment will follow in the Chapel of Devotion Mausoleum at Mountain View Memorial Park. His family will receive friends one hour prior to services on Wednesday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
