Wanda Sink Clark, 65, of Rocky Mount, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 17, 2016 after fighting a strong battle with cancer. She was born December 31, 1950, and was the daughter of the late Alfred and Maude Stanley Sink of Rocky Mount. In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by her baby brother, Junior Sink; brother, Dennis Sink; and sisters, Mavis Carr and Nell Hunt. She enjoyed music, gardening, designing jewelry and was an excellent cook and seamstress. She was also an avid Rusty Wallace fan and enjoyed cheering for Dan Marino and the Miami Dolphins. She enjoyed her family and friends and always shared a smile and her kind heart. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband and soulmate of 46 years, Jerry W. Clark, Sr.; son, Jerry W. Clark II; daughter-in-law, Regina H. Clark; and beloved grandson, James Clark; as well as a special granddaughter, Hayleigh Worgan. She will also be missed by her sisters, Hazel Pendleton, Mary Hall, Florence Hodges, Jewel (Donnie) Austin, Yvonne (David) Ilgenfritz, Robin (Jimmy) Clark; brother, Curtis Sink; numerous nieces and nephews, special friend, Judy Author; and special in-laws, Diane and Richard Austin. A special thank you to the doctors and staff at Blue Ridge Cancer Center for their dedicated care as well as the nurses and staff at Carilion Clinic Hospice – Franklin County who all took wonderful care of such a gentle soul. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 20, 2016, at Flora Funeral Chapel in Rocky Mount with Dr. David Wheeler officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, December 19, 2016, at Flora Funeral Service in Rocky Mount and other times at the home, 1815 Madcap Road, Rocky Mount.
