Wanita Victoria Adams Taylor

Wanita Victoria Adams Taylor, was born July 10, 1951 to the late Standford and Betty Adams at Day Kimball in Putnam, CT. She married Clayton A. Taylor, Sr. on December 9, 1967. They had six children, but only one lived to become an adult. Clayton passed away in April of 2003. Nita moved to Virginia in 2012 to be with her only sister, Winnie Boucher. In November, 2016 she moved in with Randal Woods, Sr., the love of her life. She went to be with the Lord Friday, June 13, 2025 in her sleep, with Randal by her side. As a young girl, she enjoyed singing with a local band. She loved country music and enjoyed her family and friends. She also later found and loved the Lord Jesus Christ. A celebration of life service will be held at Pleasant Hill Church Chapel, 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2025. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Flora Funeral Service to assist with funeral expenses. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
