Warren Boone

Warren Boone, 88, of Rocky Mount, died October 25. He was predeceased by his parents Otha W. and Lottie Boone, sister Peggy and brother Leon. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mavis Flora Boone, daughter Sheila Rose and husband David of Newport News, son Blair W. Boone and wife Kathy of Buffalo, New York, granddaughter Ashley White of Washington, D.C., brothers Cecil and Gerald Boone of Boones Mill, sisters Iris Nelms of Fredericksburg and Dorothy Hawley and husband Ted of Roanoke. He was a member of Antioch Church of the Brethren. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, October 29 at Antioch Church of the Brethren with Pastor Eric Anspaugh officiating. The family will receive friends in the Fellowship Hall following the service. Memorial gifts may be given to the Alzheimer’s Association or charity of your choice.
