Warren L. Bowman

Warren Lavern Bowman, age 66 of Rocky Mount, passed away Thursday, February 3, 2022. He was born October 13, 1955, a child of the late Maury Kyle Bowman and Arlene Peters Bowman Brunk. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Julie Bennett Bowman; step-father, W. Randolph Brunk; and brother-in-law, Sam Slothour. Surviving are his children, Amy Booth (John), Leanne Dickerson (Josh), and Scott Bowman (Maureen); grandchildren, Susannah and Eli Booth, Jackson and Jacob Dickerson; brothers and sisters-in-law, Doug and Susan Bowman, Floyd and Mary Louise Bowman, Norris and Kathy Bowman; sisters and brothers-in-law, Beverly and Daniel Wisler, Hazel Slothour; and special friend, Judy Crook. Warren was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church and loved his country. Funeral services will be conducted at Flora Funeral Chapel, 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 9, 2022 with Pastor Eddie Hawks officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Clearview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to We Care of Franklin County.  His family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
