Wayne Scott Kellam

Wayne Scott Kellam, age 68 of Grassy Hill Road, Rocky Mount died Friday, December 14, 2007. He was born in Spencer, Virginia and was preceded in death by his parents, John and Elsie Pruitt Kellam; his brother, James Dillard Kellam passed away in October of 2007. Surviving are his wife of 41 years, Lois Turner Kellam; a daughter, Amanda Kellam; two grandchildren, James and Joni. Wayne is also survived by two sisters, Iris (Robert) Ward, Little River, South Carolina, Ruby (Johnnie) Tatum, Stuart, Virginia; sister-in-law, Louise (J.D.) Kellam, Ridgeway. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Graveside services will be conducted from Mountain View Memorial Park, 2 p.m. Sunday, December 16, 2007 with Pastor Rick Poland officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kidney Foundation or to a charity of your choice. The family respectfully requests no food.
