Wayne Wright

Lloyd (Wayne) Wright, age 73, of Wirtz, passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest Lloyd Wright and Janie Nadine Dillon Fuller; and brothers, Gary Wayne Wright and Johnny Wright. He is survived by his son Steven Wayne Wright and grandchildren, Sydney and Sam Wright; daughter Stephanie Lynn Wright and grandchildren, Kristin, Jessica, and Cameron Wright; great-grandchildren Tanner and Kyler Wilson, Rylea Harrison; brothers Earnest L Wright, Fred L Wright, Glenn D Wright, Norman B Wright; daughter-in-law Laurie Wright; friend Janice Saari, several nieces and nephews.

Wayne attended Franklin County High School. He joined the United States Marine Corp in 1964 and served his country in the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged with a purple heart. Wayne was a devoted son, father, and grandfather. He loved his electronic gadgets, computers and movies, but most of all he was devoted to his grandchildren. Memorial services with military honors will be conducted at Flora Chapel, 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 22, 2021 with Chaplain Rick Poland officiating.
