William Payne "Bill" Hale

William Payne “Bill” Hale, age 77 of Rocky Mount passed away Sunday, November 19, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Edith Hale; and brother, Mike Hale. Surviving are his wife, Pamela Hale; son, Brian Hale (Nicky); grandchildren, Brandon Hale (Alexis) and Kallie Manning; great-grandson, Maverick Hale; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Jackie and Paul Horsley; numerous nieces and nephews. Bill was a United States Navy Veteran serving in Vietnam as a Corpsman. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 22, 2023 with Chaplain Rick Poland officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
