William E. Broaddus, Jr.

William E. “Bill” Broaddus, Jr., age 65 of Union Hall died Saturday, February 26, 2011 around noon doing what he enjoyed with his wife, enjoying time with friends and enjoying God’s creation. Surviving are his wife, Susan Broaddus; son, Brian and wife Yoko and their children, Naomi, Sara and Suzanna; son, Nathan and wife Angie and their children, Colton and Hannah; sister and brother-in-law, Anne and Bob Harris. Funeral services will be conducted from Franklin Heights Baptist Church 6 p.m. Thursday with Rev. J. Larry Holland and Rev. Stan Parris officiating. Graveside services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday at Lakewood Cemetery, Bowling Green, Va. with Rev. Mark Griffith officiating. The family suggests that memorials be made to Franklin Heights Baptist Church, 110 Hilltop Drive, Rocky Mount, Virginia 24151. His family will receive friends 7:30 – 9:00 p.m. Wednesday at Franklin Heights Baptist Church. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount – Smith Mountain Lake.
