William Paul Davis

William Paul Davis, age 79 of Ferrum passed away peacefully on Friday, March 21, 2014. Paul was preceded in death by his father, William Clarence Davis and mother, Elsie Spencer Davis. Surviving are his three daughters, Pam Thompson (Terry), Patsy Matthews (Beans), Paula Harmon (Randy); grandson, Bryan Thompson (Jessica); granddaughter, Kaitlyn Matthews; two great-grandchildren, Aayla Thompson and Cullen Thompson; sister, Shirley Willingham (Ed); brother, Elmer Davis. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you send all donations to Providence Baptist Church in Henry. The family wants to give special thanks to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Dr. Ben Davis, all the wonderful people at Franklin Health and Rehab. Also special thanks to Chaplain Rick Poland, Kristi Norton and Living Waters Church. The family will have a private graveside service at Franklin Memorial Park.
