William Stafford Furrow, age 82 of Trinity Mission in Rocky Mount died, Sunday, August 24, 2008.
He is survived by his wife, Bertha Furrow; children and their spouses, Patsy and James Caldwell, Wray and Brenda Furrow, Sandra and Joe Blackstock, Goldie and Andy Potter, Calvin and Cindy Furrow; grandchildren, Greg and Whitney Harmon, Brad Harmon; Tony and Loretta Furrow, Jeff Furrow and Sylvia Scott, Cindy and Jason Markham, Amber Potter, Cody Furrow; step-grandchildren, Kasey Preston, Tiffany and Tommy Allen, Nikki and Brad Custer; four great-grandchildren; five step-great-granddaughters; brothers and sisters, Arnita Mason, Bevelene Motley, Glen and Lorene Furrow, Maymon and Phyllis Furrow; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted from Pigg River Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery 11 a.m. Tuesday with Rev. Ronald Coleman officiating.
The family request that memorial donations be made to the Trinity Mission Activities Fund, 300 Hatcher Street, Rocky Mount, Va. 24151.
The family extends a special thank you to the management and staff of Trinity Mission for their care and concern of Mr. Furrow.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Monday with his family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. at Flora Funeral Service, 665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount and other times at the home of Wray and Brenda Furrow, 25 Oak Leaf Lane, Rocky Mount.
