On Friday, February 13, 2015 cherished father and grandfather, William Dallas Law of Rocky Mount, passed away peacefully at the age of 73 with the same strength and dignity for which he was known in life. Mr. Law is survived by his dedicated daughter, Rhonda Kimberly Law Blankenship, her husband Gary; and treasured grandchildren, Whitney Paige Blankenship and Chase Turner Blankenship. He also leaves behind beloved brother, Richard Law and his wife Becky; dear sister, Paige Adams and her husband Bobby; brother-in-law, Coy Renick; and special sister-in-law, Ercell Law. Many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends will also miss his loving presence in their lives. Mr. Law was pre-deceased by his parents, Emmett and Thalia Law; brother, Terry Law; and sister Patsy Law Renick. A life-long native of the Redwood community, Mr. Law possessed a remarkable work ethic and was devoted to his family. He was a man of faith who faced the headwinds of life with a boldness that showed extraordinary strength and courage. For these things and many others, he will always be admired. Mr. Law and his family were especially blessed in the days preceding his passing, showering him with love and fond recollections of a vigorous and happy life. He loved helping people and spending time at Smith Mtn. Lake so please consider honoring his memory with a donation to Lake Christian Ministries in Moneta. The family will receive guests at Flora Funeral Home in Rocky Mount on Sunday from 5-7 p.m. A funeral service will be held Monday morning, February 16 at 11 a.m. with Rev. John Collins officiating.
