William R. Saul

William R. Saul, age 71 of Boones Mill went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, October 7, 2007. He was born September 13, 1936 a son of the late Raymond D. Saul and Pauline Campbell Waldron. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Judith Ann Saul; brother Bobby Saul; and sister Barbara Jean Gibson. Mr. Saul was employed by 7up Bottling Company for 47 years. Surviving are his sons, Gary and Nina Saul, Michael Saul; his grandchildren, William Phillip “Scooter” and Julie Saul, Travis Saul, Matthew and Carrie Helms, Allen Michael Saul, Casey Saul, Michael Saul, Hailey Saul; great-grandchild, Jordon Helms; brothers Jimmy and Dora Jean Saul, Larry and Carol Saul, Jesse and Wanda Young, Arlie and Linda Saul; sister Virginia Hurt; special aunt Marie Abshire; many nieces, nephews and other family members. A special thanks to Bobby and Linda for ten weeks of love, care and memories. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11:00 a.m. Tuesday with Rev. Joe Dillon officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. His family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Flora Funeral Service, 665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount and other times at the home of Gary and Nina Saul, 202 Sauls Hill Lane, Boones Mill.
