William Gerald Settles, age 56 of Rocky Mount passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, David G. Settles and Mamie Sue Smith Tibbs; two sisters, Ruby Sue Settles, Lois Tibbs, one brother, James H. Settles. He is survived by two sons, his sisters, Mary Christine Aliff, Vickie J. Settles, Betty Jean Settles, Bonnie Gail Hutton; one brother, David L. Settles; several nieces and nephews. Also survived by one uncle, James H. Sissy Gerhart Jr. and Christine Settles Chittum of Roanoke. Per Williams request services will be private. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
