It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of William "W.D." Tuck, who left this world on Sunday, May 4, 2025 at the age of 88.

Born on July 12, 1936, W.D. lived a rich and fulfilling life defined by his passion for the simple joys and deep love that made his days meaningful. An avid fisherman, he found peace and contentment with a fishing rod in hand. His garden was his sanctuary, where he cultivated not only vegetables, but also patience and appreciation for life's natural rhythms. W.D. maintained an active lifestyle throughout his years, valuing physical exercise and the vitality it brought to his life.

Above all else, W.D. was a family man. He was a loving and devoted husband to his late wife, Peggy Ann Byrd Tuck, with whom he shared many beautiful years of love and companionship. As a father, he provided unwavering support, guidance, and love to daughters Jenny, Donna, and the late Cindy. Perhaps his most cherished role was that of "Papa" – an incredible grandfather whose wisdom, stories, and boundless affection created lasting memories for his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

W.D.'s legacy lives on through his family and the countless lives he touched with his kindness, wisdom, and gentle spirit. His life serves as a testament to the beauty found in simplicity, devotion to loved ones, and appreciation for nature's gifts.

He will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
