William Robert Young, age 78 of Ferrum, died Wednesday, April 30, 2008.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Son and Ocie Young.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Nichols Young; sons, John Young and Ronnie Young; daughters, Judy Brown, Susan Young and Rebecca Callahan; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, David Young and Wesley Young; sister, Carrie Altice.
Graveside services will be conducted from the Young-Hale Family Cemetery 11 a.m. Saturday, May 3, 2008.
The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Flora Funeral Service, 665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount.
