Willie Wade (Bill) Forte of Penhook, Virginia passed away Wednesday, January 03, 2007 due to complications from lung cancer.
He previously was a resident of Wall Township, New Jersey for 29 years.
He was 85.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Marily Ann.
Bill was born in Texas and worked as a Mason in construction for most of his life. He served in the U. S. Army 82nd Airborne during WW II. Bill is remembered for his love of the outdoors and animals. He spent much of his retirement tinkering with lawn mowers.
Besides his wife, Bill is also survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Wade and Agnes Forte, Union Hall, Virginia; his daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Tim Goll, Alva, Florida, Donna and Robert Herdzik, Plumstead, Pennsylvania; six grandchildren, Wade, Jennifer, Justine, Brandon and Lauren.
Services will be private.
