Gail Ann Carlson Masters

Gail Ann Carlson Masters, age 75 of Penhook passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024. She was born in Rochester, NY on September 10, 1948 and was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Beatrice Carlson; and her husband, William Edward Masters, Jr. Surviving are her son, William Edward “Billy” Masters III; and daughter, Frieda Beatrice Masters. Mrs. Masters has been employed with Franklin County High School since moving to Penhook, Virginia in 1998. She enjoyed playing music on the piano and organ, gardening and flowers, crochet, needle point, and farming at her home. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to the Special Education Program with the Franklin County School System. A private family service will be held at a later date.
